Welcome to the record of my travels, the pictures I take and the videos I make.
WHERE: ICELAND
WHEN: JUNE 2017
WHO: LADS ROADTRIP
We took a 6 day roadtrip around the Iceland ringroad in our fantastic, bright green camper van, stopping every time we saw something awesome - which was about every 30 seconds.
Flying into Rekjavik at a stupidly early time in the morning, we picked up the van, stocked up on supplies (mainly sweets and nuts) and set off east around the Island. However, it wasn't long before we were lost.
On the first afternoon we arrived here, at the oldest naturally heating swimming pool in Iceland, and despite it being cloudy and miserable we thought: When in Iceland. Plus watching Max get into a hot pool with sunburn was fantastic.
As we went to Iceland in the summer, the sun never set, instead we have 3 hours a day of this incredible dusk. This was taken at 2am as we were exploring some underground geothermal caves that we managed to avoid falling in, which is good because they were full of sulphur.
Some other cool information about iceland can go here.
